ARRL Field Day is the largest on-the-air operating event in Amateur Radio. It draws tens of thousands to the airwaves each year, bringing new and experienced hams together for a weekend of fun!

The Panama City Amateur Radio Club will participate in this years national Field Day outside near the clubhouse at 130 Church Avenue in Panama City, FL. The club will use generators and batteries to practice for an emergency. Several rigs and various antennas will be setup. The club call sign W4RYZ will be used. We will contact as many hams around the United States as possible in a 24 hour period. Local hams are welcome to operate and make some contacts. So if you are interested in ham radio or how hams can help in an emergency come see us in operation. Prime time will be 1 PM Saturday until 1 PM Sunday.
